The Trail is a hypothetical horror movie based on the cryptid Bigfoot in Marquette. Part of the footage used was from an old video camera from the late 2000s. This footage represents the evidence that the police found. I also used HD stock footage to illustrate detectives investigating the footage that was found. The text listing the cast and crew of the film employs a sans-serif typeface with a camera focusing effect, reminiscent of the opening sequence of the popular found footage film The Blair Witch Project. The camera focus effect is to demonstrate that it is a movie featuring found footage, filmed with an autofocus camera. I chose to make the text white because it contrasted well with the dark environments featured in the movie’s opening.
