Music Independence Conference

This piece is a series including a poster, branding, banners, and product mockups for a Music Conference. The Music Independence Conference empowers independent artists, labels, venues, and industry professionals. The color palette is limited to three colors: red, black, and white. These colors represent independence by adapting and utilizing the unorthodox style that artists like Piet Mondrian helped pioneer, bringing it into a contemporary setting, since independent music is meant to be outside of norms and trends. The MIC logo resembles musical symbology, such as a vinyl record being played or a compact disc. The posters and banners use this style to provide accurate information to convention-goers.
