Bandbox

The prompt for this piece was to create a subscription box for something that makes me happy. The box I created houses musical products for aspiring musicians or bands to get started with making music. This subscription box contains a microphone, an audio interface, and a CD case, each in its own respective package. The logo resembles keys on a piano, with a teal base and gold accents, representing the Recording Industry Association of America’s gold record award for 500,000 copies sold. The typeface was chosen due to its resemblance to the one used on the music website Genius. The boxes include accurate information about what is inside, what regulations they comply with, and copyright information. The CD case is a BandBox compilation of songs from artists from NRL and WURM, two made-up record labels.
